CCCAP is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Membership dues, sponsorships, and donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.

CCAP Members

Community College Architecture Programs [CCAP] are institutions in the United States that offer at an Associates’ Degree with major in architecture. These community colleges must be accredited by their state and region accreditation boards. These boards include the WSCUC, ACCUC, NWCCU, HLC, SACSCOC, MSCHE, and the NECHE. 


Architecture faculty at CCCAP member schools are de facto members of CCCAP. Full-time faculty receive CCCAP Update emails.  Additionally, member schools receive detailed listings in CCCAP website, their faculty are eligible for discounts at CCCAP conferences, and competitions and are eligible serve on committees and task forces. Faculty at CCCAP member schools may serve on the board of directors

    • Full Listing on the CCCAP Website: Each member school receives a detailed listing on the study architecture website highlighting their programs. Prospective architecture students and high school guidance and career counselors can browse this website to shop for architecture programs.
    • Discounted rates for job advertisements. CCCAP member schools can upload their job ads on CCCAP Careers to have positions viewed by the most qualified candidates.
    • Participating in CCCAP research initiatives. CCCAP collects data about architectural education. CCCAP members are able to participate in research and to access research reports that are relevant to your needs.
    • Eligibility to submit to CCCAP News. CCCAP faculty are encouraged to submit announcements for inclusion on our page.
    • Eligibility to serve on committees and task forces. All faculty at member schools can serve on CCCAP committees and task forces.
    • Inclusion and access to the CCCAP Directory. Schools around the world will be able to find your program.
    • Vote in CCCAP Board Elections and other Official CCCAP Business. CCCAP member school faculty are eligible to serve on the CCCAP board of directors.
  • For Your Faculty

    • Discounts on registrations to CCCAP conferences. Non-members pay a significantly higher rate to attend conferences. All faculty are eligible to use this benefit. 
    • Eligibility to participate in CCCAP-sponsored student design competitions. All CCCAP sponsored competitions require membership.
    • Eligibility to submit conference papers for review and presentation. All faculty at member schools can submit to papers for the CCCAP annual conference.
    • Eligibility to submit to CCCAP Outstanding Educator Awards. All faculty at member schools can be recognized CCCAP awards.
